WILL KANSAS CITY ROYALS WIN 60 GAMES WITHOUT ZACK GREINKE?
MLB 2011 is set to feature 12 teams, all of which prepare for opening day. The nice thing about opening daylight is that no team is mathematically annihilated and it altogether tied for first place. This is what makes the opening day so special.
Royals traded away their ace pitching staff in Zack Greinke. Although they get some young talent, in turn, those players will have very little impact this season. And when you actually break matters down by the time those prospects ready to contribute, they will become too expensive for the royal family, and it will be assigned to the younger prospects.
The Royals are not attending contend for the American League Central Division championship. In all likelihood, they did not finish in the top three in the standings. the absolute only warning Royals on the last place sewn in the middle of the season will be expected bad game in Cleveland.
Kansas City is a bad team. Of course, Billy Butler will break some long balls over the wall. Melky Cabrera will throw some of baserunners Centerfield. Joakim Soria will build some of the rescues. Simply this team will succeed really some games.
If they do not get to play against the Cleveland 19 times and face teams such as Seattle, but I can predict them to struggle to win 50 games. It may be that long in a season for the royal family.
